Weddings

Weddings are peformed at New Life Community Church for members of the church or those who attend regularly.  Please contact the church office at info@nlcc-li.com or click the "Contact Us" tab at the top of the page if you would like to check the availability of the church and Pastor Scott for a particular date.  Fees available on request.

Baptism

In order to have your child baptized at New Life Community Church, one or both parents must be members of our church and actively worship with us.  New Life Community Church looks at the whole picture of a family's involvement.  We take the baptismal vows very seriously and want to make sure that we will honor them well.  We celebrate baptism at our Sunday worship service with the entire congregation present.  Our congregation will be asked to stand with you and make a commitment to help you raise your child using the Bible as your standard of authority.

If you are an active member of New Life and are interested in baptism please contact the church office at info@nlcc-li.com or click the "Contact Us" tab at the top of the page for information about how to proceed.

First Communion

We offer First Communion classes once each year.  The child and parent(s) must attend both sessions.  The first week will be an orientation class and material will be distributed for home study and discussion.  The second week the meaning of communion will be thoroughly explained and parents can decide if their child is ready to receive communion with a clear understanding.

Membership

Membership classes are offered two or three times during the year.  The series runs 4 - 5 weeks and is led by Pastor Scott.  If you would like to learn more about New Life Community Church and what we believe, you are encouraged to attend.  At the conclusion of the classes you will be given the opportunity to meet with our elders and join with the church.  There is no obligation to do so.

Counseling

If you are a member of New Life Community Church or regularly attend, and need to speak with Pastor Scott about an issue that may require counseling we would be more than happy to make an appointment for you.  Pastor Scott will meet with you and determine if he can continue to counsel with you or refer you to someone who is better able to care for your particular need.
